I hadn't heard of P&Co before i met Carlos, in fact i didn't know a lot about menswear until i met Carlos! Not saying that i know everything now but i certainly know a lot more than I ever did since we are constantly in a world of clothing, shoots, brands, PR events and styling!
The Birmingham born and bred brand P&Co was a brand I would see Carlos in a lot. I wasn't a big printed t-shirt fan but P&Co's industrial style lead designs were always my favourite and something i would always suggest he wore when he was asking for my opinion (I thought he looked hella hot especially teamed with a fisherman beanie, open layered shirt and some boots). The P&Co Lucifer tote bag (a collection collaboration they did with Tamzin Lillywhite) was the first thing i lusted after personally and also the first gift Carlos got me as a surprise.
Working for a brand I know how hard it can be to nail all aspects of the business from branding, styling, marketing / PR, design and sales but all i ever saw were these guys killing it and staying true to who they are and what they do. I have big admiration for brands who do this and it comes as no surprise that over the years they have grown and their success is more than deserved.
Recently Carlos took part in their Never settle collection look book shoot and it was here I got to meet with the awesome Clark & Timms, I also got to learn about their slightly newer adventure, which was some women's cropped t-shirts, which (to no surprise) had been a huge success as well. It finally meant i could wear a little piece of the brand i had admired in Carlos' wardrobe for so long and their t-shirts are pretty bad ass too...
I also managed to get my grubby little hands on some of the awesome mugs which P&Co do from their accessories and home wear collection. Having my morning coffee at home or while walking the dog has never been so appealing.
